This week, Inhaler was announced. The band will perform a concert on May 9 at the Lotto Arena in Antwerp.
The band was formed in 2012 by schoolmates Elijah Hewson (vocals, guitar, and son of U2 frontman Bono), Robert Keating (bass), and Ryan McMahon (drums). Josh Jenkinson (guitar) only joined in 2015. The quartet is based in Dublin and offers a mix of indie and rock with post-punk influences.
With an energetic yet refined sound, Inhaler caught attention as early as 2020 with their debut album 'It Won't Always Be Like This.' The album features recognizable themes and captivating tracks that are often compared to bands like The Killers and Joy Division.
Their second album 'Cuts & Bruises,' released in 2023, confirms their place in the indie world. This album showcases a more refined style and includes strong tracks like 'These Are the Days' and 'Love Will Get You There.'
Inhaler also has a new album on the way. It's called 'Open Wide' and is scheduled for release on February 7, 2025. Just in time to sing it all from memory on May 9 at the Lotto Arena.
